Tay'or, a quiet wedding took place tbe contracting parties beiDg Mr Ben Marun of the Railway Department, eon of Mrs Martin, Office road, Merivale, to Miss Delia Hayward, daughter of Mrs Hay ward, Windermere House, Akaroa The bride looked very nice gowned in white pi Ik wi'h train. The orthodox vt-JI and orange blossom* completed tbe toiibt. Her sister, Miss Patience ' fluyward, was bridesmaid, find was in white also. Mr Percy Martin, brother of tbe bnd< g'oom. acted as best man. Tbe weJding. breakfast was ht-ld in the Henrietta Tea rooms, where toasts were bon, oured, and good wishes for the bride and bridegroom's future happiness were given Tbe happy couple lef' for the North island, where the honeymoon will be spent.
