TROOP BR ALEC ADAMS.
Trooper Alec Adams of Akaroa, who left with the Main Expeditionary forces in the C.V 0. bas quite recover ed from tho effects of the wound in big leg, and when last be wrote was baok at Ansae. Trooper Adams was shot above the knee and tbe leg was not enly numb, but appeared to be shrinking. Ue was taken to Malta and it was thought he would have to go to England for an operation. Fortunately the application of a battery in tbe Malta hospital was quite enough to make a permanent cure. While on his way baok to the front Trooper Adams spent some weeks in Egypt and was delighted to run across the Peninsula boys in the sixth and hear the latest Akaroa news.
