SUCCESSFUL FETE

A very successful fete was held in the St. Peter's Vicarage grounds, Akaroa, yesterday, when £22 11s'Jd was made. The jfajor opened the fete, and the associates helped the children with the refreshment stall. The result is still more marvellous when one thinks that most of the work sold was made by the children. The following is a list of stalls and workers: — Work stall (£8 103 lid): Misses E. Rhodes, L Armstrong and L Julius.
