PROPOSAL FOR SPECIAL LOAN. THE Akaroa and Wainui Road Board propose io borrow from the Government by Special Loan, under "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901," end the amendments thereof, the cum of £6COO, for the purpose of metalling the roads in the Akaroa Road District, specified in the Schedule hereto at the approximate coat set opposite each such road. That Buch loan be for a period of 26 yeare, and that the annual charge by way of interest and sinking fund payable thereon, be at the rate of £5 per centum per annum. That the repayment thereof be secured by a Spf cial Rate of ONE FARTHING in the Pound upon the rateable valoe of the rate" able property included in the s*id Road District us appears on the valuation roll for the time being, such rate to be an annual recurring rate to be levied year by ye*r, if reqnired, for a period of 26 years.
