JOCK O'HAZRLDEAN is a beautiful black horse, standing 16 2 hands high with exceedingly heavy bone and muscle and very superior action, and a wonderful good temper. Jock O'Hazeldean was bred by Mr R. Dawson of West Eyreton. He is got by the well-known horse Balmoral by Young Wallace, dam Blossom bred by Mr Balfour, of Oamaru, by Prince Royal grandame Nannie, imported from Victoria ; this mare was several times placed as a prize winner at Oamaru.
