GERMAN BAY CO-OPERATIVE DAIRY COMPANY (Ltd.)
The annual meeting of shareholders of the German Bay Cooperative Dairy Company was held on the evening of the 19th inst. Mr Hart, Chairman of Directors, presided. The balance sheet and report of the past year were read and adopted. It was resolved that a further paymeot of |d be paid to the milk suppliers, making a total payment of 10|d per lb butter fat dur , ing the past season. The three retiring Directors were re' elected, namely, Messrs G. Armstrong, jun , W. Hewitt, and J. Hammond Mr Hart handed in his resignation as he is leaving the district, and Mr J. Kotlowski was elected a Director in hie place.
At the meeting of Direotore held after tbe annual meeting, Mr Armstrong was elected Chuirman for the ensuing year.
After the conclusion of the business, the Chairman said they could not let Mr Hark go away without making him a present as a small recognition of his services during the puat ten years as Chairman. He had very much pleasure in presenting him with a ail" ver afternoon tea set, on behalf of the suppliers of the German Bay Cooperative Dairy Factory. Mr Hart raid he was rather taken by cur , prise by the presentation. Hβ had dono hie best during the time he was Chairman for the suppliers and himself by furthering the interest of the Factory. He said he thought there was a bright future before the Factory All that was rfquired was a larger supply.
