OKAIN'S BAY ROAD BOARD.

The monthly meeting of the Okain's Road Board was held on August 8:h. Present— Meeera Mason (Chairman), Tnacker and Wells. Apologies were received from Messrs Gilbert aud Spurr for their abaenoe. TENDEBS. It was resolved that tenders be invited for metalling the parts of the Okfi \'s Valley road, so na to complete the met 1, beins; as far ac Mr J. Moora's. Tender to be in 3&turd»y, the 15th inst.; also that tenders be invited for grass seed on roads, to be in by next Board day. ACCOUNTS. Some small outstanding rates were ordered to be written off, and accounts passed to amount of £25 19s, i>ud the Board rose.
