The Grand Lodge of Freemasons of New Zealand Trustees Bill iras read a second time on the motion of Mr Feldwick.
The Inebriates Institution Bill passed through Committee unamended, and waa read a third time,
The debate on the seoond reading of the Tied Hoqß6B Bill was adjourned.
Wednesday, July 29.
Alter the introduction of the Hon. T. Mahuta to the Council, the debate on the Tit d Houses Bill was resumed, and the Hon H. Feldwick's hostile amendment, that the Bill ehould be read a second time six months hence, was carried by 25 to 8, and the Bill thus was killed.
