PENINSULA RUGBY ASSOCIATION.
The annual meeting of delegates was held -at the Criterion Hotel ou Saturday evening Present—M" -rs Gray and Goodwin (Akaroa and Thomas and Mason (Okain's), and the Hon. Sec. Mr Wa'ton (C.R.U) was also present. After roading the minutes, the balance Sheet showing a credit balance of £2 16s 6d, was adopted. The f0110w...;, officers were elected :— Patron, Hon. W . Montgomery; President, W. H. Montgomery, Ffq ; Vice Presidents, O-pUiu R- Heaton Rhodes, lr Thacker, and Mr E. E. Lelievre; Hon. Sec. anl Treasurer, F. S. Michell After considerable dis.uss'on on the matter of improving football iv thedistrict.it was moved by Mr Thomas, seconded by Mr Goodwin—That application be made to the Canterbury Rugby Union to send a team to tha Peninsula this year. Mr Walton kindly promised to bring the matter btfore the notice of the Union. It was deoided that the matches begin on Saturday, June 27th. The following fixtures were arranged : — June 27—Akaroa v Okain'., at Akaroa ; Julj 4—Okain's v Akaroi, at Okain's ; July 11—Akaroa v Okain'p, at Ak-roa; July 18 —Okain's v Ak .roa, at Okain's.
