Rules of New Zealand Jockey Clubs and Trotting Association adhered to. I The Racirg District comprises the whole of the County of Akaroa, the Ellesmere Eleotoral District, and Boroughs of Akaroa and Lytteltor. I 3. The winner of any race, after declar ation of weights, to carry a penalty of 7lbc and for every additional race 51b extra in alt . flat handicaps ; and the winner of any hurdle race, after declaration of weights, to carry 101b extra. 4. District horees must be the bona fide property, for not less than three months prior to the date of race meetine, of residents within the Club's racing district ; and any owner wishing to train outnide the dietrict must obtain a permit to do so, signed by a- y two Stewards of the Club. 5. Nominations for all handicap races y must be in the hands of the Secretary at Little River not later than 8 o'clock p m., on February the 21st.
