IS HEREBY GIVEN, in accordance with the provisions of " The Public Works Act, 1894," that it is the intention of the Little River Road Board to CLOSE the several pieces of road in the said Road District, situated near Gebbie's Valley and hereunder described : — Ist.—All that parcel of land in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeas • urermnb four acres, being a strip of land one chain wide, situated in Block XI, Halswell Survey District, the boundaries whereof are as follows: Towards the north-east by R.S. numbered 6076, towards the south east by the Gebbie's Pass road, towards the south-west by R.Si number 4491, and towards the north by l the boundary between the Port Victoria and Little River Road Board Districts. 2nd—All that parcel of land in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement eleven acres, one rood, and thirty four perche3, being a strip of land one chain wide situated in Block XI, Halswell Survey Districb, and bounded as under : Towards the west by the Gebbie'e Pass road, toward* the north by R.S's, numbers 5132, 21408, 13561, 21389, 35608, 18719, and 21387, and also by the road leading from Gebbie'a Pass road to Me Queen's road, towards the west and south west by R.Ss. numbered 1340, 21409, 12123, 35577, 12124, 35579, 18717, 35578. 18716, 35586, 21392, 35585, 23585, and 3624. 3rd—All that parcel of land in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasnrement two acres and thirty-six perches, being a strip of land one chain wLle situated in Block XI. Halswell Survey District, nnd bounded as under : Towards the north-east by R.S. numbered 5129, towards the south-east by R.S. numbered 13547, towards the south-wesc by R.Ss , numbered 13557 and 13535, and towards the north-west by a road line. 4th—All that parcel of land in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement five acres, two roods, and fifteen perches, being a strip of land one chain wide situate in Block XI, Halswell Survey District, and bounded as under: Towards the west by R.Ss. 5130, 12721, 34089, and 21385, towards the north by the boundaries between the Port Victoria and the Little River Road Districts, towards the east by R.Ss. numbered 35582 and 21374, and towards the south by a roal line. sth—All that parcel of land in tha Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement two acres, three roods, and eight perches, more or less, being a etrip of land one chain wide, situated in Block XI, Halswell S irvey District, the boundaries of which are as under : Towards the north west by McQueen's Valley road, towards the north-east by R.Ss. 10166, 15518, and 13517, towards the southeast by Gold Valley rmd, and towards the eouth-weet by R.Ss. numbered 13517, 13518, and 2007.
