This Board regret that the reasons given in his resignation prevent their asking him to reconsider it, as the Board is quite aware that his ill* health has been principally caused by the assiduous way in which he attended to the Board's work, also that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr Chapman. From Mr Edmondson, claiming a sum alleged to be due .to him by one of the Board's contractors. The Board has no alternation in this matter but to comply with the conditions of the Workman's Liens Act. The Clerk was instructed to have several small repairs and improvements done, along the Main road and other placee.
