F»t Cattle—No quotable change- can ye; be recorded. Steers mad« £5 15s to £8 17s heifers £5 5n to £7v12» 6d, and cows £3 to £6,and up to£9 for extra good ones. Dairy and Sore Cut'le—There was a fairly large entry of dairy cows, and for tbe belt'r sorts there was an improved demand, but medium and inferior cows were dull of sale. The prieps obtained for the latter were £2 10<? to £4 10s, and for good springprs £5 to £7 7s 6d. There was n ftirly large pntry of store cattle concisiing chiefly of yearlings to thxee-year-olds, ' but the sale W'»s a very poor one. Store Sheßp—There waa a fair entry of store sheep, including lines from the North Island and Blenheim. Fat Sheep—There was an active demand for all classes of sheep, nnd freezers showed on adv-mce in price, but butchers 1 lines wero about on a psr with latn sales. Freezing wethers msdo 15-" 6 d to 19s 3d and heavy weights 19' 6d to 21» 3d; maiden ewes 12s 4d lo 14* and 15-t 9J to 18? - lOd ; ewes 10j Gd to 12s lOd for medium, and 14s to 18s 3d for heavier weights; merino wethers 7s lOd to lis 6d and merino ewes 7s to 9 j .
