AKAROA DOMAIN BOARD.

To the Editor.

Sir,—ln the last issue of your paper I noticed a leader devoted to tbe abuse of the Akaroa Domain Board. I can assure you, as one ot that Board, it is my intention so long as I am a memher, to use my own discretion as to what is necessary to be done in the Domain without referring to the Akaroa Mail for orders. Anyone would think, by tbe tone of the leader, the whole populace were up in arms because a few unsightly trees had been thinned out to make rooms for better ones, I should like to see you publish a list of the public whose feelings are so aroussd on the subject, as 1 have not heard a single complaint up to the present.—Yours, etc.,

G. ARMSTRONG. Jun., Chairman Domain Board.
