A hearty vi ti of thanks was passed to tbofe gpot'emen for their gift. Mr Kelly proposed and Mr Brodio seconded—'That 6d be charged as an entrance fee (o the tournament." (Carried.) A heatty vote of thanks was pissed to the fiim of Recce and Sons for their present of a very handsome fiet of carvers. Competitors in the-tournament drew for par'ners for the second round, after which a vote of thanks ti the chair terminated the meeting
