FOOTBALL.
On Saturday atternoon a telegram was received from the Mervale Football Ciub, stating that they won'd be unable to' meet Akaroa on Monday, as they would be plajintf Lincoln College. The trip of the Akaroa team to Christchurch was therefore postponed.
It is very likely that the Akaroa Club will send a team to Little River next Saturday to play the first match with the Wairewa Football Cub. II so, the Akaroa team will be published next isGQ;.
