WEDDING.

A very pretty wedding took plnce at the Roman Catholic. Church, Christ-, church, on Tuesday last, when Miss Margaret Calibta Kavanagh, of Upper Kiccarton, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Mr Frank Mora, of German Bay, Akanoa. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Malone. The bride, who was given away by her brother Mr Peter Kavanagh, looked extreme'y handsome m a dress of French merino of a lavender colour trimmed with silk to match. The orthodox veil was of course worn, and was becomingly arranged with orange blossom. The bride was attended by her sister Miss Julia Kavanagh. who, like her other bridesmaid, Miss Mary Mora, sister of tlie bridegroom, wore dreeses of fawn tweed, which looked very handsome. Mr Thomas Mora acted as. best man: The guests, numbering about sixty, were entertained at thw ; bride's residence. When a splendid dinner had been partaken of, the guests inspected the numerous and costly presents which testified to the good wishes following the happycouple to thcr-r new home. Nnnweek,bread plate-; Miss L. Nunweek cheese plate-,- Mr d Hanson, fruit dish ; Mr G Mangin, tea pot ; Misses L. aril M. Mangin, vases : Mrs Vangioni vises; Miss K. Vangioni, breedplatc; Miss Mora, water jig: Mr H, silver cruet.
