[By Telegraph.] Wednesday. Messrs H. Matson and Co., associated with the N. M. and A. Co. of New Zealand (Limited), report : — Fat Sheep—About an everage entry to hand, competition was good, prices obtained were on a par with last week's quotations viz., croeebred wethers sold at from 15-i 6d to 16«; medium do realised from 13a to Uβ 6d ; crossbred wetbers and maiden ewes sold at from 12s to 15a 3d ; crossbred ewes realised from 8s 6d to 13s; merino wethers cold at from 7a to 9j 9d each. Store Sheep—Luge entry to band, competition was brisk, resulting in a total clearance at late quotations ; 2-tooth crossbred wethers and maiden ewee realised from 9s 91 to 10s; 4-tooths made from 10a 6d to 10s 10d ; large framed crossbred ewes made from 9a each, other sorts as per market fluctuations. Fat Lambs—Medium entry. Competition waa good. La'e pricee were fully maintained, best eorts selling at from 13a to 13s 91; medium, from 10s 6d to 12s 6d each. Fat Cattle—Large entry to hand. Competition was good, and prices obtained were on a par with lato quotations. Best bollocks sold at fmrn £5 7s 6d to £6 10s ; heifers, £3 5a to £6 ; cows, from £4 to £6 7s 6d. Store Cattle—Nβ lines to hand. Pigs—Large entry of stores to hand, which sold at from 13j 6d to 22s 6i each.
