Colonel Brown landed' at the ffjn | yard Pier under a salute from the-Niger, and I also from Bri'omart Barracks. The Niger wa« last at Tauranga, but brings no news from the! Southern ports. Importation of Game.—lt appears froni ■ shipping intelligence that Mr. Stafford had ! shipped’on board’the “Jura” a quantity of I birds, such as partridges, thrushes, linnets,.| larks, and blackbirds,.
