High School Sports.

The fourth annual sports meeting of the Alexandra District High' School was held on Tliursday, April 21, in the school grounds in beautiful weather. Keen competition was shown in all the events, full fields facing the starter. Parents of the pupils took advantage of the perfect conditions and were present in fair .numbers. The sports were well organised and unnecessary delay was reduced to a. minimum. Two cups were competed for and won by lan M'Arthur in the secondary boys, with a total of 27 points, and Sadie Cameron with 14 points, in the secondary girls. In the primary department the successful competitors were Robert Aruott, with 1!) points in the boys' section, and Connie Walker, witli 13 points in the girls' section. In both departments the cups are held by the winners for a period of six months. The following- are the results of the various events:—,
