M< ARTHUR—TAYLOR. A very i>rctty wedding was solemnised iu St. Michael's Church, Clyde, on Tuesday, April 22, awhen Isobcl (elder daughter of Mr and Mrs Jas. M' Arthur,. .Strath Clyde) was married to Geoffrey (only son of; Mr and Mrs A. Taylor, of Conroys), The church which was beautifully and artistically decorated with flowers, fpc, by girl friends, was well filled with guests and friends of the young couple. The Vicar (Rev A. B. Pywell) carried out the ceremony, the "Wedding March".; being played by Mr The! bride, who entered the church on the' arm of her. father, wore a beautiful frock of ivory embossed chenille geor-' gette with a skirt of georgette, satin shoes and carried a sheaf of lillies; her veil of Brussels lace, arranged with pearls and orange blossom, f ell •in graceful folds, forming a train .which was held by her sister Elsie, who made a chaiyniug picture in a georgette frock : the skirt of which was;, ankle length: with tiny frills; n.. : eoa.tce -of ivory : chenille georgette, fur trimmed, and a tulle veil arranged with ribbon and, orange blossom completed a .charming toilette. - The bridesmaids, Miss Jean , Beattie and Miss Enid Annan, wore ankle length frocks, rucked in front, j with net hems, the former wearing , yellow and the latter green. Over j these they wore' coatees of beige lace, ; trimmed with fur. Their hats of felt and satin shoes were of the same shade , as their frocks. Miss TiiylorV (sister of the bridegroom) wore a Poiret- ( model of blue corded taffeta with oyster coloured felt hat. After the. ceremony an adjournment was made to the Hall where over 100 guests sat round , the wedding breakfast tables where the ' ladies of the Clyde, hockey team acted; as waitresses; the bride was a member; of the: Clyde Hockey Club.
