MANIOTOTO SUB-UNION. A. general meeting .of the Management committee of the'Maniototo Football Sub-union was held at Banfurly recently. Tliere were present: Messrs

J. J. Eraser (chairman), B. Simonsen (Beferees' Association), G. P. Howell, G. M' Knight, C. E. Gibb, A. Aitchison, E. Young, J. B. M'Gill, H.Blakcly, W. Bulman and B. Paterson. It was resolved that a letter of appreciation be sent to Mr W. Howell for his services on the union in the past. Mr 8.. Paterson was elected in his place. Applications for tegrading were dealt with as follows:—Gimmcrbuito-Patea'-roa, J., O'Malley regraded to senior grade; Kyeburn,. C. Pearson's application to be regraded to junior grade refused; Middlehinreh, J. "Beattic's re- , .grading declined. - Transfers were granted to C. Lennon, from Alliambin; , to Waipiata; D. Black, from Romsihapa. , to .; GimmcrburnVPatearoa; S. Smith,

from Ranfurly to Waipifita; E., Palmer, from Waipiata 'to Banfurly. The following clubs' players were approved of:—St. Bathans, Hyde (subject to W. Hannah producing clearance), Middle.-, march (with exception of J. Beattie), Ida Valley (subject to . clearance of Kirkwood and Brown being in order), Banfurly (subject to Li Vial and Stevenson's clearances being in order).
