PERSONAL
The Minister of Internal Affairs (Hon. P. A. tie la Perrelle) is expected in Alexandra to-morrow (Thursday) evening. Mr Perrelle will be accompanied by Mr Kelleher, Miss Crabb and Mr Poulton. ' Messrs C. Weaver, J. R. Laing and C. M'lntosh (delegates from the Central Otago Fruitgrowers' Association) left for Dunedin yesterday to attend the Provincial Conference of fruitgrowers sitting in Dunedin to-day. Mrs Provaiv (mother of Mr D. Provau of Alexandra) died in the Clyde Hospital on Sunday night at the age of 78 years. The funeral takes. plaee at Naseby to-day. Miss I. Gillet motored through to Dunedin on Saturday where she intends spending a fortnight's holiday. Miss Jewel O'Kane was 1 home from Dunedin for the week-end. Mr S. Bringans also spent the weekend in Alexandra. Mr Bert M'Kellar, who was injured at football some weeks ago has been discharged from the Dunstau Hospital. He is making, rapid progress but will still be confined to his bed for another week or two. •
