The combined team was defeated by the Dunedin team last Wednesday by 20 to 9. The first spell ended with the score 11 —9 in favour of the home team, the remaining scores (3 tries) being added in the second spell. Scores were secured for the .touring team by Marslin, which Hannay converted, and a potted goal by Leyden. The county forwards more than held their own in the second spell. ~, The following team will represent Vincent against Tuapeka at Box - burgh ou Saturday : —R. Campbell; J.
