VILLAGE AT BOTTOM OF LAKE.

'An old sight lias been seen at? Lake Vryuwy, the enormous reservoir in Wales from which the water Hows to Liverpool to supply the horses there," says the ' Children's Newspaper.' " Wheii Lake Vryuwy was made, 30 years ago, a villiage of 500 people saw their homes vanish beneath the water, and the lake was created on the site of the old village of Llanwddyn. The house tops were submerged to a depth of 80ft'when the lake filled up. ' Now, owing to the long dry weather of this summer the lake has fallen to such a low level that the ruins of the old villiage have been seen beneath the water ; and it is said that many old people have travelled to see their old homes in the bed of the lake."
