SUMMER COLDS.
A summer cold requires just as much uttcutitfu as one you contract in the winter. In the summer y° u are more lightly clad and therefore more easily affected by the. frequent changes of climate. Get rid of your cold directly it develops by taking Chamberlain's Cough Remedy. A cold may not bo serious in tho beginning but it often leads to troublesome complications. Treat a cold in the tirst stage and it is quickly got rid of. You will be wise if you get a bottle of Chamberlain's Cough Remedy to-day for immediato uso when you catch a cold. —Sold Everywhere.
An excellent way of utilising odds and euds of soap, which accumulate in every household, is to collect these and keep theui till you have a small jar full. Place the jar—an old stono jam jar will do excellently—in a pan of boi'ing water and boil till the soap is dissolved, adding a littlo pure olivo oil, and cutting up the soap into tiny pieces that no hard pieces remain Stir in the jar till quito smooth, add! a few drops of perfume, and pour while still liquid into a wooden soap bowl. This should bo allowed two days to cool slowly.
