The annual meeting ot the Alexandra Ladies Croquet Club was hold in the Pavilion on Thursday, Gth" insfc., -a good number ut members Using present.
The following oißeo-bearcrs were elected : —Presidont, Mrs Itirkei (reelected) ; a ice-presidents, Mrs >Schauniami and Miss Brown ;< secretary, Mrs J. H. Hi vers ; general committee, Me.sdames Hannau and Barry; matcl) committee. Miss M'Corkindale, president, and yicoprosjdtMits.
The past year had been very successful, showing a substantial credit balance.
Votes ot* thanks to the retiring secretary, president, and the Press were pr.'sqcc|. The lawns will bo opened for the season on Sjaturdav first. ,
