There is a full attendance of fruiterers- at our sale ' each morning and a ksen competition is being experienced for all lines of local, cherries, strawberries, green, gooseberries, new potatoes, rhubarb, green peas, local tomatoes and grapes. Old potatoes are practically unsaleable. Poultry, heavy consignments came forward for our sale on Wednesday, and prices were much easier in consequence. We regret to state that a number of eggs now coming on to the market are stale. Suva bananas reached our market in over ripe condition, though very satisfactory prices were obtained for all consign-, ments.
