The Venetian gondolier who was in the permanent employ of John Ruskin between the years 1878 and 1888, during which period the great English critic spent many, months in the Italian Adrian city, is atiU alive at the age of 70 years.-^ '■■, ■ His name is Peter Marino, and he is as strong and healthy as a young man, his ruddy countenance accentuated by x small white mustache and two little bright eyes, like a rabbit's.
