Some firms, however, are growing tired of such customers (says the New Zealand Times), and one of them sued a married couple at Wellington last week for six months' hire of a machine, which they had for that time without paying instalments due. Counsel for the plaintiff firm said the case had been brought as an example to those wLo tried to evade the provisions of their contracts to ouy on the hire system. His Worship agreed, and gave judgment for /';s, being six months' instalments of 10s, with costs.
