Nominations for the Alexandra Handicap* F.yiu»; Handicap, Central Otago Trot and Jockey Club Trot must be received by the Secretary not later than 7 pni on SATURDAY, 27th November. Handicaps for the Alexandra Handicap, Flying Handicap and Central Otago Trot will be made on Saturday, 24ih December. Acceptances for these Handicaps must be in addressed to the Secretary not later ih m 7 pm on THURSDAY, 16th December. Nominations for the Trial Stakes, Manuherikia Handicap, Domain Handicap and Riilway Stakes must be in addressed to the Secretary not later than 7 p m on THURSDAY, loth December. Handicaps for the Manuherikia Handicap and Trial Stakes will be declared at 9 p m on Thursday, 16th December. Acceptances for the Manuherikia Handicap will be received by the Secretary not later than 11 a in on day ot races. The Handicaps lor the Jockey Club Trot wid be declared on the course immediately atter the Manuherikia Handicap is run. Acceptances must be lodged with the Secretary not-later than 20 minutes afier the handicaps arc declared. RULES & REGULATIONS. I—AH nominations must be accompanied by fees, name, age, an i description* of the . horse and colors ot tbe ruler. 2—All riders, including trotting riders, must ride in colors. 3—Tho races will be run under tho Dunedin Jockey Club's rules aud regulations, botli as to the rules of racing and working of the iota isitor, with the exception of thj trotting, which will be run under the ru.oi of the New Zealand Trotting Association. 4—Horses starting in tbe Alexandra Handicap or Flying Handicap win not be eligible for the Handicap (hack con litious) Races. s—No entries or acceptances will be received after the time specified, and CASH must accompany all entries. 6 —The rules of the Now Zealand Tiotting Conference will be strictly adhered to. 7—lotaiisator dividends will be paid on fi-at and second horses iu all races where six or more horses start in accordance with the rules of the Duuedin Jockey Club. B—Winners of any races after tho declaration of handicaps may be rehandicapped. 9—The names of the trainer or owner or owners must be included in all acceptance forms when acceptances are .sent in, in default of which the owner or trainer may be fined a sum not exceeding £5 or be disqualified. 10—By entering a horse the nominator and every poison having au interest in such horse shall be deemed to accept all the conditions and restric ions imposed or implied by the rule-, and to be .debarrcl from questioning any action or conduct of any official of a trotting or racing club in respect of such horse, or any persons connected therewith otherwise thau is provided for by Rule 163, Rules of trottiau.
