The following is the order paper for the second special and ordinary meeting of the above council to be held on January 24th:— 2 O'clock p.m.—Special Business, To decide by special resolution the working day in the week for the closing at 1 o'clock of shops in the county, outside of boroughs, as provided -by sections 8, 9, and 10 of " The Shops ( and Offices Act, 1904." Ifj| 2.30 p.m.—Ordinary Business. Or Butler to move : That the Bum of one hundred pounds be expended'in repairing the worst parts of the Dry Gully road, Kamscleugh Flat to Alexandra.
