Tuapeka Licensing Committee.
The quarterly meeting of the above body was held in the Courthouse, Roxburgh, on Thursday last. Present —F. J. Burgees, Esq., 8.M.. (chairman) and Messrs Elder, Rivers, IngUs, sjgjj Mfnhaels. A transfer of a publican's license was granted from Wa. Alderdice to T. J. Grant, in respect of the Duastan Hotel, Clyde. A temporary transfer was granted from G. W. Spooner to James Martin, in respect of Ormoad's Hotel, Bos' burgh. The Olerk wu instructed to ask the police in all the districts to send in a report quarterly.
