28 Novr 1851 My dear Douglas I give these few lines to introduce Capt Thomas who will most probably call up to see you whenever he lands. He is a great friend of mine. Give him some lunch and be as kind to him as you can. I have left Villiers. It became too noisy on court days and I am now in a delightful quiet house in a beautiful bay fronting the harbour. My other letters are in a packet to Papa. Ever you own afft Donald McLean
