Wanganui, 25th June, 1849. Sir, In accordance with your letter of the 28 ult. I beg to inform you that I have transmitted to the Colonial Treasurer the sum of One Guinea found over in counting the first instalment of One thousand pounds for the Rangitikei purchase.
