Wanganui July 10th. 1850. We, the undersigned Chiefs of the Ngatiapa tribe do hereby acknowledge that we have this day received on behalf of ourselves and tribe from Mr. McLean, the sum of Five Hundred Pounds, (£500) being the amount of the second instalment due to us on the 15th. day of May last, as per Deed of Sale of the Rangitikei and Wangaehu districts.
