30 March 1863 Warleigh My dear Donald I have much pleasure in telling you that I am at last in my own house and got the flitting over very easy. Alex came home on Saturday night and came up to see us. They are busy drafting. The bearer Mr Neil Campbell who a long time in the old Government employ and a good and faithful servant is now on the look out again and if you do not want his servises he will likely take the sheep for Steward to Otago. Your little boy was my driver during my flitting and the dear little fellow is looking so well and staying with us. I do long to see you up here to talk matters over.
