When it was known that Mr Ormond had won a discreditable scene occurred, most fiery language being shouted by the supporters of Mrlvess. Mr Ormond mounted the balcony of Mayo's Empire Hotel to return thanks when he was assailed not only by groans and hisses but by stones, several parsons on the balcony being bit, though cot much hurt.
