MARCH OF THE GREEKS.
DRIVING BACK THE TURKS. ATHENS, October 27. After three days' fighting, the Turks retired to positions at Kiaffa. The Greeks are marching to Philippiada and Antestrebina.
Reconnaisances discovered that the village of Koumtsades had been looted. The young males had been killed by the Turks, and Arnauts (Albanians) and women and children fearfully outraged. Eight 'hundred additional Cretan volunteers have arrived.
Fighting continues at Pintepigadhia, southwards of Janina.
The Crown Prince has entered JCpzani unopposed. The Turks subsequently attacked the town, but were repulsed. The inhabitants of Kozhani welcomed the Greek cavalry brigade. M. D'ragoumiS (Greek! Governor-Gen-eral m Crete) received an ovation on his arrival at Canea.
