She had a passage characterised by very fine weather throughout, having generally experienced light weather, until past KergueJan's land,, when she had strong: favorable winds. Crossed the Line on the sth January, in 26 W; the meridian of Greenwhich on the 3rd of February ; the Cape ou the Bth of February; sighted Prince Edward's Island on the 12th of February; and made the Snares on. the evening of Monday the ICth inst. No vessels of any colonial interest were spoken on the passaere. The passenger list includes 2in the cabin, 20 in the second cabin, and 69 in the steerage, ■ the latter including 47 young females, having assisted passages, exclusive of the cabin passengers ; 'the total is 89, divided thus:—Adults, males, 29; females, 55; children, 5; all of whom arrived in good health and spirits, and without any increase or diminution of the original numbers by births or .deaths throughout the passage. The barque AMivallach, already reported as having arrived on Wednesday evenine, brought 116 passengers. She has also upwards of 300 tons of coal, and.,

a quantity of bacon. Had a twenty days' passage, protracted, first at Cook's Strait, and subsequently off this port. The Jeauaie W. Paine, which arrived about the same time with sheep aud horses, has since discharged hor freight, as well as the French barque Vellore, also laden with sheep. '' _ The barque Ashburton, from Adelaide, reported some iiays ago by tho Christina as being close to the Port, made her appearance at the Heads to-day, and was towed up in the afternoon. She brings a valuable cargo of South Australian and other produce, and about a hundred passengers. Left Adelaide on the 17th ult, and Cape Jervis on the 22ud, experiencing tine weather until reaching Port Otago Heads, when she was driven to sea. The Ann Sanderson, at the date ot the Ashburton's departure, had not begun to load for Otago. The Ashburton is one of the finest and lnrgest vessels which have arrived from Adelaide, and brings a larger number of passengera than has usually arrived from that port.
