LIEUTENANT WARNEFORD.

FATAL ACCIDENT IN PARIS.

PASSENGER KILLED. (Received Juno 20, 330 p.m.)

Paris, June 18. Lieutenant Warneford was killed while testing a Farman biplane at a Paris aerodrome. Mr. Henry Iseedham, the American writer, who accompanied him, was also killed. Both fell 800 ft. The bodies were unrecognisable.Journal, describing the The Paris Journal, describing tne accident, states that Lieutenant Warneford made several large circles and several rapid descents, when at an altitude of 200 metres he tried to make a sharp turn to the right. The machine described a somersault and fell heavily. The occupants, who wore unstrapped, fell out. The bodies of Warneford and Needham were brought to the mortuary of the British hospital at Versailles from the aerodrome. Ibe coffins were draped with the Upion Jack and the Stars and Stripes and covered with floral gifts from the medical staff and British convalescent soldiers, who -are inmates of the hospital.
