VIOLA DANA IN "GLADIOLA."

Miss Viola Dana, who played the principal parts in the Edison dramatic successes, -'The Stoning" and "Children of Eve," is seen to great advantage in the Edison four-reel drama "Gladiola," which commenced its week's screening at Everybody's at noon today The story is placed in beautiful scenery where the wonderful gladiola's flowers are grown, and different scenes traverse acres upon acres of the lovely flower. Miss Viola Dana rises to heights of dramatic art in the various pretty scenes of the glorious play which concerns the life of "Gladiola," a country maiden who forsakes the love of a country lad for the glitter and glamour of an adventurer. Too late she finds out that her impetuous marriage was invalid and that the city man's wife is living. Broken in health and spirit, "Gladiola" wanders back to tho country, where safe in the love of a good man she secures peace of mind and happiness. The part of "Gladiola," as pla-y----.ed by, Miss "Viola- Dana, is characterised with great delicacy and power.
