WOMEN'S PEACE CONFERENCE AT THE HAGUE. ARRIVAL OF THE BELGIAN DELE"GATES. (TIMES AND SYDNEY SON BBRVICBS.) . (Received May 4, 8.30 a.m.) ' LONDON, 3rd May. There was a thrilling moment at the Women's Peace Conference at The Hague when the Belgian delegates who had crossed the frontier on foot entered. They were loudly cheered. The British delegates declared that the Suffragists were anxious to go to the front to fight. The Belgians protested against pea<*« without justice. The Conference sympathetically listened to a heartrending story of injustice to Belgium, and passed a resolution in,- favour of peace on just principles, including no transference of territory without the ; consent of inhabitant* affected. \ CONGRESS ENDS IN UPROAR. (Received May 4-, 9.5 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, 3rd May. The Women's Peace Congress ended in uproar. The German delegate* controlled the gathering, and icde roughshod over the protest of two English delegates against resolutions favourable to Germany. The Congress adopted a resolution de. manding immediate peace.
