The British cruisers Lancaster a.nd Hermione have been ordered to proceed at full speed to Mexican ports. The Suffolk and Berwick are already cruising in Mexican waters.

It is reported that an overwhelming force of rebels is about to attack Tampico, where there are many foreigners. It ia not known if the despatch of warships is connected therewith.

Tho rebels are attacking Tampico. The battleship Louisiana has. been dispatched there to protect foreigners.

A troop-train was dynamited north of Monterey with heavy loss of life.

Rebels attacked a passenger train near Monclouo, killing six people and wounding others.
