Paper Money led from Roarner, White Heat and Grand Parade, with Panther fifth and Coriolanus last. Rounding Tattenharu corner, Paper Money was still leading, followed by Grand Parade, Buehan and Sir Douglas, while Panther was near last. •When close home, Grand Parade challenged and won an exciting race. Sir Douglas was fourth, Tangiers 'flh and Panther ninth.
