Tho "" Sydney Morning Herald " says that it cannot gainsay that the. tennis championship is in serious jeopardy. The "Telegraph" snys there is a very general impression amongst the players the-m----solve" that America ivilt lift the cup. This opinion is due to the fact that tho Australasian team is weakened by the absence of Wilding. NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIPS. Owing to tho Davis Cup match being definitely postponed until Monday, the semifinals in the Ncav Zealand Championship Combined Doubles will bo played to-mor-row morning. Play Avill commence at ten o'clock, when A. O'Hara. Wood and Miss Stewart Avill meet Harold Brown and Mi*> B Nunncley, and R. M. Kidston and Miss Gray will moct T\ M. B. Fisher and Mias Travcra. The winners will play J. C. Peacock and Miss Simpson and H. Rice and Miss Williams respectively.

At two o'clock Misses Travers and Gray will play their finals in the Ladies' Doubles with Misses Baird and Nunncley. This match will be followed by the Men's Singles final, when an interesting contest will be fought between G. Ollivier (Canterbury) and J. C. Peacock (Wellington), tho present champion. Tho final in the Combined Doubles will bo played immediately afterwards.
