MARLBOROUGH.

The following facts will be found of considerable interest to our readers; showing as they do the very small revenue which the Province of Marlborough has been enabled to carry on Government with. We may mention that the district of Timaru has been and now is yielding the Canterbury Government a revenue of nearly four times that of the above province : — The revenue receipts for the quarter ended the 30th of June, was £12,207, but this was inclusive of a balance of £4,746 from the quarter preceding. A return has been published, showing the. quantity of land sold, and the sum it has realised, since the separation of the Wairau from Nelson.
