Wellington. February 18. Mr Stevens, Inspector of post offices, has been appointed postmaster at the Thames in succession to Mr ' Coney, pensioned. Mr Douglas (Westport) has been appointed assistant inspector. Mr King (Gore) goes to Westport. Mr Dewar (North Dunedin) goes to Gore. Mr Stanton (Greytown North) goes to North Dunedin. Mr Roberts (Mercer) goes to Grey town. Mr Mann (Patea) is to exchange postmasterships wth Mr Benner (Waihi). Mr Robertshaw (Picton) takes charge of the new office at Inglewood. Mr Lococq, now at Waipakarau, goes to Picton, and Mr Logan, ofWairoa, to Waipukarau.
