The Visit of the Duke and Duchess of Yobk.— We learn that their Royal High: nesses the Duke and Duchess of York are expected to arrive in New Zealand on the 6th June, and that their stay in. this Colony wiil be limited to seventeen days. Under these circumstances it is impossible for their Royal Highnesses to visit Nelson.

Death of an Old Setiler.— We regret to ] hear of the death of Mrs Morris Levy, wife of Captain Levy, which occurred at her residence, Nile-street West, early yesterday morning. The deceased lady was with a paralytic stroke on Sunday last, just j as she was going for a drive with heri daughter, and she never spoke again. Mrs Levy had resided in the Colony for nearly 50 years, and had lived in Nelson for the last 35 years, having come to this city from Auckland shortly after the murder of the Rev Mr Volkner, at Opotiki. Mrs Levy and her husband were just issuing invitations to their friends to join them in celebrating their golden wedding. Much sympathy will be felt with Captain Levy and the family.
