DONOVAN, THE EPSOM DEEBY WINNER.
The extended pedigree of Donovan which is given below shows him to descend from a great winning family on both sides. Oalopin, hi.s sire, won the Derby himself. He is by Voltigeur's greatest son, Vedette, from Flying Duchess, by the Plying Dutchman, &o that he *s a descendant of the heroes of the celebrated match at York, and is full of the Blacklock blood, which prejudiced old Dr. Shorthouse used to denounce so bitterly.
